What are the Requirements of the Working Environment of the Pressure Switch?

time:2024-08-22 15:54:24 author:小编 click:order

The working environment requirements of the pressure switch mainly include the following aspects:

1. Temperature

In general, pressure switches have a specific operating temperature range. Common pressure switches can usually operate in a temperature range from -20 ° C to 80 ° C or even wider.

At low temperatures, the internal component performance of the pressure switch may be affected, such as the elastic component may become harder, resulting in reduced measurement accuracy or insensitive action. At high temperatures, electronic components may be damaged by heat, and plastic parts may soften and deform.

If the operating environment temperature exceeds the rated range of the pressure switch, it may lead to misoperation, reduced accuracy, shortened life and even damage.

Two, humidity

Pressure switches are generally required to work in an environment with low relative humidity. Usually the relative humidity is not more than 85% RH (no condensation) is more appropriate.

High humidity may cause water to enter the pressure switch, resulting in corrosion and short circuit. Especially in the case of condensation, it can cause serious damage to electronic components.

If the working environment is high humidity, you can consider choosing a pressure switch with waterproof and moisture-proof function, or take additional protective measures, such as installation in a sealed enclosure.

3. Pressure fluctuation

The pressure switch should be installed in a position where the pressure fluctuation is small. If the pressure fluctuation is too large, it may cause the pressure switch to operate frequently, affecting its life and stability.

For some high-precision pressure switches, pressure fluctuations may also affect the measurement accuracy. When selecting the installation location, try to avoid equipment with large pressure fluctuations such as pumps and valves.

Vibration and shock

The pressure switch should be as far as possible to avoid installation in the vibration and impact of large places. Strong vibration and shock may damage the internal structure of the pressure switch, affecting its performance and life.

If you cannot avoid vibration and shock, you can choose a pressure switch with anti-vibration and anti-shock function, or take shock absorption measures, such as installing shock pads.

5. Corrosive media

If there are corrosive media in the working environment, such as acid, alkali, salt, etc., should choose a pressure switch with corrosion resistance.

Pressure switches made of corrosion-resistant materials can be selected, such as stainless steel, teflon, etc. Or the pressure switch for protective treatment, such as coating anti-corrosion coating.

6. Electromagnetic interference

The pressure switch should be far away from strong electromagnetic interference sources, such as high-voltage wires, transformers, and motors. Electromagnetic interference can affect the electronics of the pressure switch, resulting in misoperation or inaccurate measurement.

If there is strong electromagnetic interference in the working environment, you can choose a pressure switch with anti-electromagnetic interference function, or take shielding measures, such as the use of shielded cables.

In short, in order to ensure the normal operation and long-term stability of the pressure switch, the appropriate working environment should be selected according to its specific technical parameters and use requirements, and corresponding protective measures should be taken.
